Mitchell joined Framptons in March 2023 as an Associate Director, and is a chartered member of the RTPI, with 8 years’ experience in the private sector. Mitchell was most recently working as an Associate Planning Director in London at a company who specialise in strategic land promotion, where he was promoting two new settlements proposals, along with sustainable urban extensions across England. The role also included identifying and assessing new strategic investment opportunities.
Prior to working in London, Mitchell previously worked at Framptons for 5 years where he gained valuable experience in promoting and submitting applications for large scale residential, commercial, and horticultural projects, including New Settlement proposals, sustainable urban extensions, logistics and distribution parks, and food growing facilities.
Mitchell has experience in managing projects through the planning process including pre-application; public consultation and engagement; preparing and submitting major applications including that are Environmental Impact Assessment, discharge of conditions, instructing Counsel, promoting sites through the Local Plan process, Local Plan Examinations, and planning appeals.
