We are currently supporting the progression of a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI), a nationally significant project designed to enhance sustainable logistics, improve connectivity, and reduce reliance on road haulage.

Our involvement covers:
• Project Inception
• Consultations – Statutory and Informal
• Consultation Attendance
• DCO Application
– Provide overall planning strategy to the Client and Planning Team;
– Input into scope of works for other members of the ‘planning team’;
– Review all documents for the PEIR review;
– Liaison with the Council and Statutory Consultees where required;
– Prepare and settle a Statement of Common Ground on Planning Policy;
– Review all other Statements of Common Ground;
– Preparation of a Planning Statement that addresses all relevant planning policy issues;
– Review all outputs from the consultant team, including reports and plans
– Liaison with 3rd parties, LPA, and Client throughout.
